Capt. J.R. Waits will be your guide for a fishing adventure in the waters surrounding Charleston, SC. After graduating UNC -Chapel Hill Capt. J.R. opened Fish Call Charters in 1996. He has been featured in many magazine articles and TV shows as well as winning and placing in most every tournament.
Capt. J.R. is a Charleston native who lives with his wife Pilar and children Greta and Guerin along the banks of the Wando River, but runs most of his charters out of the Isle of Palms Marina. Capt. J.R. is equipped to take the youngest to the most experienced anglers. Children and families welcome.

"Fish Call" is a 2010 17-foot Action Craft flats skiff used for fishing the shallow backwaters. Available year round with a maximum of 3 anglers.
"Trophy Hunter" is a 2011 24-foot Canyon Bay Offshore/Bay boat used for fishing the bays, jetties, and nearshore reefs or for larger parties in the backwaters. Available April-October with a maximum of 6 anglers.
